Southend | Columbas Footprints
One of the most southerly parts of Kintyre holds the most unusual and interesting things.
Past Dunaverty Golf Club on the right hand side through the gate and along the steps are whats known as Columbas Footprints.
One of the footprints is considered to be of authentic and historic origin marking the spot where St Columba first landed in Kintyre from Ireland on his religious journey through Scotland on his way to Iona.
