Skipness

Quite a distance from Machrihanish, Skipness sits at the most north easterly part of Kintyre famed for its 13th Century castle, Kintyre's most impressive castle remain.

Many people may have heard of Skipness through friends, or perhaps through the Seafood Trail, where the Seafood Cabin is a member.

Skipness village, is small and linear, with a single small shop, school and church. The castle just through the village offers fantastic views from the roof top over to Arran and down towards Carradale.

Skipness is roughly 25 minutes from Tarbert and an hour or so from Machrihanish.
