Golf on Islay
A single, very popular and respected, golf course awaits you on Islay. Machrie, created in 1891, is an 18 hole golf course some 6250 yards long and similar to Machrihanish Golf Course offers some fantastic links challenges set in the hairy and sandy dunes.
The clubhouse, not unlike some of the islands distilleries, offers food and drink on return from your round as well as hotel rooms for people who are not staying elsewhere on the island.
