Machrihanish Golf and Courses

If there is one thing you should visit Machrihanish for, it's golf.

Machrihanish is recognised worldwide as having one of the greatest links courses in the UK and the world. The opening hole looking out over Machrihanish Bay and to the undulating landscape ahead.

Now, there is not one but two golf courses here in Machrihanish, the Old Course and the new Machrihanish Dunes course and resort.

Both courses feature challenging links golf through 18 undulating and well manicured holes and welcoming clubhouses.

Other Kintyre Courses

Kintyre and the surrounding Isles are a great place to experience golf in a natural environment free from the municipal waiting times and often with spectacular views and changing weather making each round of golf different.

Courses are available on Kintyre at Carradale, Dunaverty and Tarbert. Island courses include Gigha, Islay and Arran all within a ferry trip from Kintyre.
